🚀 Zuse Technologies is looking for a high-impact DevOps Engineer Intern to join their core DevOps Team in Colombo. This internship is designed for those ready to deploy, secure, and scale multi-cloud infrastructure while helping launch new ML Ops initiatives.


🛠️ Core Tech Stack

  • ☁️ Cloud: AWS (EKS, EC2, IAM, Lambda, RDS), Huawei Cloud, OVH, and Digital Ocean.
  • 🐳 Containers & CI/CD: Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, ArgoCD (GitOps), and GitHub Actions.
  • 🤖 Automation: Terraform and Ansible.
  • 📊 Monitoring: Grafana and Prometheus.
  • 🔐 Security: Keycloak, Azure AD, and Zero Trust architectures.
  • 🧠 AI & ML Ops: Early-stage ML pipelines and AI model deployment support.

🎯 Job Responsibilities

  • ⚙️ Automate Everything: Write robust Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to provision cloud and dedicated servers.
  • 🚀 Deploy & Scale: Support CI/CD pipelines and manage complex application lifecycles using GitOps.
  • 🛡️ Security: Configure AWS security, manage in-house VPNs, and drive Zero Trust rollouts.
  • 🧠 Pioneer ML Ops: Bridge the gap with Data Scientists to build ML Ops pipelines and deploy AI models.
  • 🔍 Monitor: Keep a pulse on system health using Prometheus and Grafana; optimize K8s clusters.

🎓 Qualifications

  • 📜 Education: A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 💻 Cloud Skills: Strong hands-on familiarity with AWS services and cloud networking principles.
  • 🐍 Scripting: Solid scripting skills in Python, Rust, Bash, PowerShell, or Go.
  • 📦 Orchestration: Real experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 🛡️ Mindset: A strict security-first mindset and strong problem-solving skills for complex cloud environments.
