Fame Group is Hiring: RF Engineers & Project Coordinators
Fame Group of Companies, a diversified organization in Telecommunication, Electrical, Renewable Energy, and IT Engineering services in Sri Lanka, is seeking qualified professionals for the following roles:
Position 1: Engineer / Engineer Trainee (RF)
Telecommunication / Electrical
Responsibilities:
Conduct drive tests to measure and evaluate network performance.
Collect, analyze, and report Radio Frequency (RF) performance data.
Identify coverage gaps, interference issues, and call quality problems.
Coordinate with RF optimization and network teams to improve network performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and testing procedures.
Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Telecommunication or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in drive testing or a similar role.
Knowledge of drive test tools and software (TEMS, Nemo, PHU, etc.).
Basic understanding of GSM / UMTS / LTE / 5G network technologies.
Good computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and reporting tools.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for the ENGINEER – TRAINEE position.
Position 2: Project Coordinator (RF)
Telecommunication / Electrical
Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating project activities.
Track project schedules, deliverables, and day-to-day project operations.
Coordinate with Drive Test engineers and field teams.
Prepare drive test reports with findings and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Telecommunication / Electronics / Project Management or equivalent.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Drive Test / RF / Network Optimization projects.
Strong knowledge of Drive Test methodologies, tools, and KPIs.
Hands-on experience with drive test tools (TEMS, Nemo, Genex).
Good understanding of GSM / UMTS / LTE / 5G network technologies.
Good computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
